An open curriculum and set of tasks to achieve tech (and other) literacies helpful to participate in Open Oakland, a Code for America Brigade.

This course is for current or prospective Open Oakland members, City of Oakland employees, other Code for America Brigades, and the public at large.

By joining this course, you will complete tasks to gain learning achievements toward tech (and other) literacies critical to work with the Open Oakland team, city governments, civic applications, and tech generally.

These tasks will be achieved at your own pace. This challenge is a vehicle to connect you with support as you go.

Open Oakland holds itself to high standards, but not to be exclusive--we want to support each others' development of literacies to engage in civic technology projects in Oakland.
