Youth Voices - where all sorts of texts seed our conversations

Students working to become power users on Youth Voices engage in discussions about the articles or books they are reading.

Each of the four tasks asks the student to quote and cite from a text, and to do one of the following:
-- Make connections.
-- Ask questions and speculate.
-- Track important elements in the text.
-- Compare this text with other things.

By having conversations about their reading, students are practicing the habits they need to be successful in any academic discipline or in a profession.

P Time it should take to complete:
10 hrs
