Students will learn about the act of writing poetry, and how to do it without looking foolish. They'll be immersed in work of the greats–Edgar Allan Poe, E. E. Cummings, Sylvia Plath, et cetera–with the hopes of recognizing how these people have found their voices. This will essentially help the studen find his or her poetic voice. Most of this course will revolve around you(the student) and your mind.
