Geographic Information System through Open Source

Geographic Information System Popularly known as GIS is a skill set driven by theoritical basis derived  from geography to environmental sciences to criminology. Many find it difficult as the basics are linked to experimentation in software. It is a myth that training in GIS is 'Costly'.  For basic operations and experimentation powerful GIS Engines are not required it is suffice to have free and open sources GIS. Studying GIS through open source is the aim of this course.
