I hope I can have something worth showing at our red carpet event! Except for playing around with screen capture software and practicing using a camera with keyboard shortcuts, and maybe experimenting beforehand two or three times just for myself with newly acquired video editing software, ALL of what I have learned in the last couple of weeks is new and intensively presented to me! Maybe there should be a new acronym for an intensive MOOC - how about iMOOC? Oops, bad idea ... Apple might sue us!
Last night for show and tell, as you know, I had problems with the vimeo upload. The upload completely stalled in Firefox, frozen at 0%, but today I uploaded it very successfully in Google Chrome. Along the way, I found that my video's bitrate was way beyond the recommended Vimeo 5000 kbps level, which may have stalled things in Firefox. I figured out how to fix that, but will use Google Chrome for my vimeo uploads from now on, just in case. I know you also use vimeo, Kae.
I took to heart all the feedback I got from my hasty YouTube upload, and will see what I can do, especially about the light levels, and using transitions to clean up all the panning, as Abacus suggested. Plus Inglorious suggested some invaluable advice regarding movie trailers to emulate!
Looking forward to seeing what we all have to share on Sunday!
