How do open communities make good decisions and get stuff done?
Open communities like open source software projects or Wikipedia hold the power to drive broad change. In order to leverage this power we need to better understand how they work, how they make decisions, and how they get stuff done.
In this course we will look at norms and practices, governance and leadership, and above all lots and lots of examples. Working through the tasks will help you start your own open community, or better understand the challenges faced by an existing one.
