Challenge supporting the use of materials from the Plot Unit of OpenFiction Project.

This challenge supports the use of materials found in the Character Unit of the OpenFiction Project, a free and open introductory fiction writing course

The goals of this challenge are to:

• develop a critical vocabulary for discussling character in fictional narrative

• practice identifying and describing elements of character in fictional narrative, and

• learn drafting and revision techniques for improving the character development of your own work.

Bonus Optional Task - Submit your own exercise exploring characters' inner lives

Help provide others with writing exercises that don't have to be purchased in a text.

As much as I like What If...?, and recommend it, I'd like for tOFP materials to be as free standing as possible. Help to make this possible by suggesting new writing exercises exploring the interior worlds of characters. I will incorporate those that are well-liked by the community back into the OpenFiction Project. Post suggested exercises to the discussion forum of this task.
