Make Your Own Meme [July 30, 2012, 4:49 p.m.]

Your Task

Recently the "What I Really Do" meme has popped up around the internet. A few good examples:

(You can find more examples here).

We're going to ask you make one about yourself, and post it here.

Step 1: Who are you?

List traits about yourself--maybe a few that you're proud of (being a New Yorker, or a Red Sox fan) or that you're a bit hesitant to come clean about (say, being an NPR listener).

Step 2: Ask around.

Settle on one trait, and your friends and family what those traits mean to them. Ask 5-6 people to brainstorm what they think that person does with their time, looks like, etc.

Step 3: Make your meme.

Download the sample template here, and get started on your own collage.

Make a collage about those different definitions, and share that collage below in this task.

If you need help finding images, check out the Find the Perfect Photo Challenge on P2PU.

Step 4: Post and share.

Post your collage here, along with your reflections on the conversations you had. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
