Madam Blavatsky wrote a works called secret doctine vol2. Here is my interpretation of what she says about reincarnation. She says that our lives are countless, but our brain forgets from one life to the next. She also says that we have a soul which is eternal and the same, and that the soul never forgets from one life to the next. She continues to elaborate on the soul, saying that it tries to communicate to us, but threshold is too low for us to perceive. She concludes that it is possible to access the memories stored in the soul.

That which is part of our souls is eternal. . . Those lives are countless, but the soul or spirit that animates us throughout these myriads of existences is the same; and though "the book and volume" of the physical brain may forget events within the scope of one terrestrial life, the bulk of collective recollections can never desert the divine soul within us.
