Cantor Set

Cantor Set

The cantor set can be described as a line segment where the middle section is repeatedly removed.

Each iteration produces twice as many line segments in the space of the original segment. This process introduces the concept of 'nowhere density' meaning that there are infinitely many gaps in the line segment as one continues to remove the middle third of each previous segment.
