we need to have a special section for AJAX as it is very important. what does everyone think?

As I have mentioned previously, my originally allocated 6 weeks for running the Javascript course (as was) is now over.

I have other things to do so now that the course is instead organized as an always running Study Group, is one of the other organizers prepared to accept the main organizer role?

All this means is that you become a central communications point, people applying to be participants have to be approved, etc (it doesn't mean you have to do any teaching).

Maybe we should do a "Main Organizer by Committee" thing, where we have a group of organizers, and we schedule it or someone picks it up as another cannot...

    That might be an idea.

I was told that all organizers are equal now; can you see the "pending applicants" and are you able to make them participants or organizers (according to whether you think they should be).

(Supposedly my status will become participant later today or perhaps tomorrow).

If that's under the "Edit Participants" button, yes I can. Do you get emails alerting you if new people sign up?

Great Idea and it keeps things in a consistent stream. This might also be a good place to place tasks "to do" for organizers -or a place to put tasks for organizers and everyone can help in those areas and remove them when they are complete (after running it through a committee??)

I'm a new organizer for the course and look forward to carefully moving through, reviewing, and providing feedback on the material. Great work organizing over the past 6 weeks, even though I'm new to the class I can appreciate the time committed.
