    I was looking at the weekly themes and for week 2 we have : "State and federal standards" - there are a few of us [ atleast 2 I believe ] from outside the US and this might not be very useful to us unless there are universal/generic take-aways - Not a major worry but wanted to give a heads-up

    Dinesh, thank you for bringing this up. I know the issue of standards varies greatly by country (and by state, and by school). My hope is for us to have a discussion about general principles of dealing with standards. Do we want any? Depending on the answer, what are the options for our work? I hope the tasks will be open enough so you can make them fit your interests.
