I agree with cpres. I find the 2 best ways to learn anything is to jump in, head first, over your capabilities, and then teach people what you've learned. If you do those 2 things, you will excel at everything you do!
I will be archiving this entire class for the future as well. For what purpose, I have yet to decide.
As for the CSS & JS concerns - this might ease your brain a little bit.
CSS is super simple, just read it like a book. ie: border:1px solid red; means a border with 1px thickness colors red.
.class <- that is a class, used as "class='myClass'" in an element of HTML. Classes are used more than just once.
#id <- is an ID. ID's are unique, and only used once. used as "id='myID'".
And the JS we use requires minimal knowledge. Variables, small functions, and anything easier than that. No custom event handlers, we let jQuery do that work :)
Definitely give this class a shot! I'm going to try and make it as simple as I can.
