posted message: Hello all! It's been a while. Would anyone be interested in jump-starting this group with me, or starting another course? This would be re: making content, mentoring, creating tutorials (and so forth) in the HTML5 video, Mozilla's Popcorn Maker/ Webmaker pipeline? If so, feel free to email me drawnalong[at]gmail.com. If anyone is aware of a newer, live project going on, please get in touch and point me in the right direction! --- Mike

posted message: I can provide the following for my project:
1. A Website called "Cinesensei" - My domain this is not yet hosted.
2. I have tons of space to host this domain
3. I can create a sample video with an audio track that has 10 references

posted message: Hey everyone,
I have a problem with the integration of Popcorn.js / Youtube API / Universal Subtitles. I use Popcorn.js with a Youtube video (Plugins: Subtitles, Footnotes). That works fine. Now I want to add different styles to my Youtube player (http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/apis/youtube/player_parameters.html) and want to integrate universal subtitles (http://www.universalsubtitles.org/de/).
How can I get those elements to work together?
Thank you very much. Best, Julius
posted message: Hey! Glad to be here! I'm on the coordination team for http://openvideoconference.org -- this year we're lighting up New York Law School Sept. 10-12th -- Popcorn.JS is a big part of our efforts, we'll be having a pitch session and plugin hack groups with some excellent developers -- message me if you have questions or want to volunteer (free admission!) -- hope to see you all there!
posted message: Firing a Video Event off of a Video?!
Hi All - Does anyone know how to trigger a video (and multiple videos) to run off points in the timeline. The demo http://visionsofstudents.org/ tries it but not exactly. How can you auto play a new video off of a timeline without stopping the timeline? They play around with a 'timecode.js' & this:
//Register Video Events
Popcorn.forEach(timeCodes, function(value, index){
if (value.fade){
p.code({ start: value.start, end: 3600, onStart: function(){ fadeInThumb(value.id) }, onEnd: function(){ fadeOutThumb(value.id) } });
}
else{
p.code({ start: value.start, end: 3600, onStart: function(){ showThumb(value.id) }, onEnd: function(){ hideThumb(value.id) } });
}
})

posted message: Hey Nick and all,
I've been exploring the tasks. Interested in Google Maps Streetview and followed up on the popcorn streetview developer link you provided Nick. My JS skills still being basic David Seifried kindly provided this additional Streetview tutorial - might be useful to others http://dseifried.wordpress.com/2011/06/28/an-overview-of-popcorn-js-streetview/
I'm looking to Popcornify a music video I recently shot and am finalizing edits on. I'm looking for help! (coders?) Here's me exploring Streetview with it http://jsfiddle.net/Deiren/tNhyt/25/embedded/result/
Artist is Jake Clemons (Clarence Clemons nephew). Here's the youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3QRd32JjbQ
Have some ideas but would love collaboration!
