    posted message: Good evening! My name is Jess Lance, and I'll be your hostess for this course. On September 30th, we are going to embark on a whirlwind journey that will leave you with a piece of writing that you can be proud of. This "class" requires a lot of work and participation on your part, for both you and your peers, as you will soon notice when you check through the syllabus. At the beginning of every week (on Sundays) I will post the reading/assignments for the week. Assignments and critiques will be due the next Saturday night, unless otherwise indicated. We will use Google Docs throughout this course to share our work, so please become accustomed to the program if you are not already. I will answer questions below. Hobey ho, here we go!
