Neat stuff! The site looks very interesting - how did you get the invite?
-
i just requested one on their site. they're apparently launching publicly in a couple of weeks but i think they're keen for pre-release feedback, especially from different research communities. ie, what sources are missing, user experience/interface, etc.
posted message: hey guys, has anyone else signed up for the demo of http://altmetric.com/? (note: not altmetricS.com, which is different). it took a few days for me to get an invite but it looks like a SUPER promising tool for finding papers with social media coverage. i just set up and saved two queries - one for "peer learning" and one for "open education". here's an interesting paper that came up, maybe we can read it in a future week. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2729.2011.00423.x/abstract;jsessionid=C1FC01D3F4C51D7C699ECE0B4DC85D6E.d01t04
