    This video is focused on higher ed, but I think it applies to all levels.  Perhaps you have seen an older versio of this but some of these trends seems spot on!

    This was a very compelling use of Vialogues. Making me think of some applications for this with students.

    Had a very nice discussion with two of the development team and I am not sure if they had completely considered the implications for schools to use Vialogues for self-recording and self-analysis.  I used to have a long distance weightlifting coach who used youtube as his main training tool, but this would have made it so much better as a way of including feedback and responding to feedback.

    Trends from the Horizon Report (one year horizon):

    According to the Horizon Report these four areas are where teachers need to connect. This is where I am (sort of).  where are you?  Is the Horizon Report a legitimate measure of teacher connectedness.

    1. Cloud computing:  Google Sites/Drive, Dropbox, IFTTT, Evernote, Amazon S3(storage),
    2. mLearning (apps and phones):  Android, iPodTouch/iPhone, cel.ly, augmented reality apps
    3. Social reading:  Findings, Kindle highlights and notes, Diigo public and group annotations,
    4. Tablet computing: Kindle, iPad
