Delia Browne is a Sydney based policy lawyer specialising in Copyright issues in education. She is the National Copyright Director for Schools and TAFEs and heads up the National Copyright Unit(NCU).

NCU advocates for copyright law reform on behalf of the School and TAFE sector and is currently advocating changes to Australia's copyright law to the Australian Law Reform Commission Review on Copyright and the Digital Economy.
She is a co founder and President/ board director of P2PU as well as a board director of iCommons and the Australian Digital Alliance.
She is a passionate advocate of Creative Commons and Open Education and was one the drafters of the Cape Town Declaration on Open Education. She is on the editorial boards of the Media and Arts Law Review and the NZ Intellectual Property Review.
