I have been and plan on continuing to be a life-long student of everything that interests me. I have insatiable curiosity about things I don't know. I am currentlyapplying to my 4th graduate program and looking at free colleges and courses. I just signed up for An Introduction to U.S. Food System: Perspectives from Public Health, a free course, because I want to work on helping our food get safe and healthy. I am willing to take it to the streets.
I am a writer with 15 years of freelance experience and a two-time novelist. I have a B.A. in English/Creative Writing. I worked as a staff writer, assistant editor, and fiction and poetry editor for a print magazine. I love doing research and have worked as a health researcher. I am interested in crafts, alternative health, vitamins and supplements for specic conditions or prevention. I am drawn to Zen, spiritual housekeeping, journal writing, public speaking (Toastmasters),thrifting and recycling, poetry and creative writing, spirituality and too many others to list.
