I am a South Australian agency mental health nurse currently in the process of relocating to the Sunshine Coast to be closer to family members (also to feel warmer and enjoy early morning sunlight).
As an agency nurse I have had quite amazing opportunities to work in acute, transitional, forensic and community settings, across most age groups. The Older Persons Mental Health Service (SA) is one of my favourite community team placements. I have enjoyed working with these skilled Clinicians and have provide good case management for the older client, who often have comobidity issues and complex needs.
I am looking forward to participating in the online program and learning about other nurses' experiences and differing points of view.
