I'm the Program Advisor at the Arkansas Department of Education for the state's teacher licensure program. In other words, I run a program to teach college graduates (in something other than Education) to be teachers. I was a classroom teacher (coming out of the Nursing profession into teaching) of middle school science for many years and I've been at this job for the past eight years.
