Get started organizing online content and explore curation tools in Curating Content.

How many times have you tried to check a quick fact online and then lost an hour following links and checking unhelpful websites? The proliferation of paid search results and content mills makes it difficult to find what you want. Like traditional museum and gallery curators, digital curators acquire useful works and artifacts that fit into their collections. Influential tech evangelist Robert Scoble has said that content curation will be an essential 21st century digital skill.

posted message: edited final task. Per Chloe's suggestion, changed the vague "Share any extra information on content curation and a link to your curated list below!" to a specific restatement of the process followed in the challenge with an emphasis on the fact that if you followed this process you have a deliverable product.

at times there are tasks are no longer in the proper order. This makes it difficult for new students. Does anyone know how to put them back in the proper order? And does anyone remember the right order of the tasks (a new student asked me).

    Hi Jennifer,

    Thanks for your comment.

"Task 1:.." and "Task 2:..." are actually part of the task names, so if they were out of order, the numbers would be out of order.

    The task names are:

Task 1: Hot Topic or Cabinet of Curiosities

Task 2: See You Later, Aggregator

Task 3: Tools of the Trade.

    Task 4: Context Clues.

Task 5: Share, and Share Alike

everything still shows up in that order for me, so maybe it is an issue with the P2PU interface... I guess if that is the issue, leave a comment on P2PU help in the upper right hand corner.
If there is anything else I can help with, don't hesitate to ask.
    Best,
    Chris Crawford
