Start your Open and Networked PhD by declaring your candidacy

This challenge is your first stage in an Open and Networked PhD (ONPhD) - establishing your candidacy.

You will be listing past research projects and publications - or equivalent; writing a plan that demonstrates your understanding of the ONPhD approach, and outlining the intended research project/s. Your plan will also contain ready offers of supervision and mentorship from experienced researchers, and evidence of a preparedness to follow ethical boundaries in the research work.

On successful completion of this challenge, you will be deemed an OnPhD Candidate at the Peer to Peer University, and Wikiversity.

posted message: We are excited with this ability to work towards declaring your OnPhD candidacy with P2Pu and Wikiversity. The idea of an Open and Networked PhD is a project I (and a few others) have been working on for a couple of years. We believe that having a way to declare candidacy is an important first step toward gaining a PhD level of knowing in a chosen (and self-directed) subject area. We would like to encourage anyone curious about this approach to join us in our peer based learning journey. Feel free to read through the challenge and provide feedback. Start the challenge yourself and provide your thoughts and insights. All feedback is welcome (critical or otherwise).

Great job Pete. I'm following along. I'll copy the tasks over to Wikiversity for backup and for the option of taking the challenge there. http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Doctor_of_Philosophy
