We inspire girls to become creators and innovators. Girls create mobile apps to solve problems in their communities.

This online 12-week curriculum can be completed by team of 4-5 middle or high school girls (guided by a mentor or teacher) to develop mobile phone applications, “apps”. Teams everywhere in the world submit their app, video pitch, and business plan to an online panel for judging by April 13, 2013. Regional winners travel to the San Francisco Bay Area and compete at the Technovation World Pitch event ~May 1st for US $10,000 to develop their app for the mobile market.

    Hi Marina

Hello from San Francisco! That sounds fun. Unfortunately, we were not able to get livestreaming set up in time for this year's event. However, we will be tweeting from the event @_technovation_ and will share links to pitches, videos, and other event highlights as soon as we get them posted. It may be fun to watch the video regional pitches for each team on our website - technovationchallenge.org - and watch our Twitter feed to see how the night is going. Don't forget to vote for your favorites. Send us pictures from your gathering too and we will tweet them!

Thanks for cheering for our finalists and we hope to see you here next year.

    Best,

    Angelica
