Take charge of your education with help from your peers.

The web is an amazing place to continue learning, but doing it on our own can be a difficult task. How can we make plans, achieve goals, and hold ourselves accountable without traditional courses or grades?

Build strong foundations for self-directed learning in this challenge based on Anya Kamenetz's Edupunks' Guide to a DIY Credential.

posted message: I am very exited about this. I have been trying to figure it out on my own, (how to educate myself) and this is like finding my ideal being created. This course/challenge is the most obvious best start. THANK YOU for not overlooking it. Could someone tell me if I am suppose to check the first seven tasks as I read them or as I actually complete them. It will probably take me a week or two to do steps two through four. I have so much to define for step two. Step three will require some research. Step four is going to be a learning experience in itself. I currently am not doing anything like that. Step four probably needs to be my next step so I have a "Place". If anybody can talk with me about step four that would be great.

    Welcome Tony!

Check off tasks as you complete them. Nothing will prevent you from discussing and commenting if the task is not done!
