Although I had already registered a domain name at Bluehost and hosted a Wordpress blog there years ago (see: Preclectic.com), and have helped others regsiter for and set up domains, I did get to:

  • practice exporting a Wordpress blog
  • using Simple Scripts
  • revisit installing Wordpress
  • practice importing a Wordpress blog that was previously hosted elsewhere.

A simplified version of what I did is shown below:
