I am not much into toys but I suppose a designer might find as practical application for this "tool"?

Anyhow... I would prefer to simply write the code for what I want...

  The link you gave doesn't show anything that you hacked (that I could see).

  One of the benefits for this tool is to learn how the designer of a web page did something (kind of like looking at the code) and to play with changing the code to see what effect it would have on the page.
