    Thats an excellenct question.

I choose to learn and teach others ruby because:

    1) It is an easy language to start learning about programming.

    2) It "forces" the user to start using command line tools and gets you comfortable with those.

    3) Ruby is becoming a viable langauge in the professional web app/site development world.

Maybe you can help me sort out this problem. I can't get access to the coursework files. I have gotten Git and Github set up and working, and I have forked and gotten a coursework repro with a read me file. But I can't find the coursework files for the class. Some of the links in the video for setting up Git and Github do not work on my Windows system, particularly when I try to use the described link for fetching the coursework files. I get a read me file, but nothing else. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think I've figured it out. The exercises are in the book and not in a separate repro that is described in the steps that don't work. Correct? From: sidunn@hotmail.com To:
