- Converting your PowerPoint into Prezi: Go to prezi.com. Create a free account on Prezi. Select ‘PowerPoint’ from the top-center menu when in Edit mode. Click on "Select File..." and choose the PPT or PPTx file you want to import. Drag your slides from the sidebar to the canvas, or click Insert all. You can also choose to add a path between them. Paste the url into the word document.

Student feedback is crucial to improving our programs and obtaining funding, so please ensure that students take a few minutes to complete the Technovation Challenge post-survey.

Hi Angelica, Great to know that there were so many submissions. The girls worked really hard on this project and since there will be only 10 winners - will there be a way to get the feedback from the judges? It would be great to know what worked well and what could be improved upon? Would it also be possible to know the relative ranking? Hi Mita,

The judges will be uploading the judging rubric with their scores and comments back into each team's dropbox. So after judging ends, the teams can go back to their drpbox, and see their score and what comments the judges made on how to improve the apps etc. As for the relative ranking, we will not be posting that online. I think if each team knows how they did then that should be suffieicent :)

    Thanks!

    Hi everyone!

I belieeve by now, everyone should have received a confirmation email. If you have no received one, there may be a problem with your submssion, and I would have tried to contact you either through p2pu provate message, or through the email listed on your drop box. Please check them to see if I have contacted you.

Some common problems with submission is using older version of the word document, please make sure you use this one: http://iridescentlearning.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Reaname_as_your_TEAMNAME1.docx

Also, this is a request for all teams, please make sure that I am able to invite others to your dropbox. This is necessary to share your folder with the judges.

If you have not received an email yet, and cannot find an email from me, please contact me directly at Tahani@iridescentlearning.org

    Hi Technovation Teams

Congratulations on submitting! I am so proud of everyone, thank you. If you have not shared your dropbox folder already, please do so right away and share anything you have been able to put together. If you are having issues downloading, you may want to submit screenshots.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 12 hours from now, please reach out to one of us and let us know.

Due to the volume of applications, it will take us a couple of hours to confirm that we have received your materials. We will share your materials with judges and expect to know our 10 regional finalists by Apr 18 so that teams can make arrangements for the May 2nd World Pitch event.

In the meantime, celebrate your huge accomplishment! Send us pictures, videos... anything that you want and we will share on Twitter, FB, and P2PU.

    Thanks again!

Hello! I submitted for all 6 of my teams! Super proud of their work and all that they learned over the last 12 weeks. With a series of computer issues, spring break, and a snow storm they managed to pull together 6 good submissions. Many of the girls are already talking about participating next year, so hopefully you will continue to allow middle school students to participate—and even have a middle school level competition.

In the post surveys will their be ample opportunity to provide suggestions/debrief about the experience? After running this as a class and with 6th/7th grade students I think there is a lot of feedback we at DSST Cole could offer!

Waiting on a link from a student for the youtube video for Team 1. If they get it to me in time I'll update the word document. I put the team emails and my email on the word doc's. For confirmation of submission can someone send the email to my email (jacqualyn.blizzard@scienceandtech.org).

Such a cool opportunity for the girls to be a part of!

    Thanks,

    Hi all

Just finished uploading - its 1am over here in India!

Really impressed with my team. I think we were the youngest - 5th & 6th graders!! They worked hard and developed an app to help wheelchair users find accessible places! India isn't great for anyone on a wheelchair - very few public places are accessible and unfortunately no directory listing exists online for the few that are accessible. Hopefully their app will provide a solution and also raise awareness!

Organizers - We had a problem - a huge tech glitch where the pitch video couldn't be loaded from the videocam to the computer. And this was at night! So we couldn't even go buy a cable to do the transfer.  Thus we had to  re-record the entire pitch with only one team member.  This is the video we finally loaded but it nowhere as cool as the one the kids made.

I'm wondering if we can be allowed to load the original video tom - once the markets open up and we can purchase a new cable and transfer the video to youtube. Please do let me know if we can do this.

Again thanks a lot for the opportunity

    Aneesa from Chennai India
