Hello everyone. Above is my type at this exercise. And if you are in the mood, you can cruise the rest of my blog.
This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.
Spend the last five minutes of time looking for other peoples blog posts on the challenge discussion page and leave comments for them. If you can find any errors in peoples work mention it to them, but do so in a way that you'd like people to do to you.

Hello everyone. Above is my type at this exercise. And if you are in the mood, you can cruise the rest of my blog.
You have far nicer handwriting than I do. Code looks good to me.
Hi Dave,
Your code looks good :-) I just learned that the <!DOCTYPE html> is a tag telling the browser in which language the code is. The <meta charset="utf-8"> is still a mystery to me... Probably something with a character set? Can't wait to find out more! :-)
Gr Attapit
UTF-8 tells the browser how to render the characters on the page. For example, symbols like !, @, #, and the letters I'm currently typing. If you've ever been surfing the web and seen those black diamonds with the quetionmarks inside of them (), that's a result of an improper character set (charset).
You've done a great, neat job in writing your first html doc. Hope we all do a great learning together!!
Hey everyone!
Checkout my handwritten HTML page. I've added some captions using Skitch to explain the tags.
Wow. Not only did you do the task, you added the captions. Good job!
shocking pink and blue...... colours that standout.
standard, html, nicely written and neater than my own hand...

here is a post I made
Agree with your statement about the oversimplification of all this. I think this is a good process for first time folks, or people who never had to play with html. I wonder if it is something you could use as an activity on class.

Jealous of the clean print style of Realcaz...
I commented on TechCreations' blog and bugman's blog. I'm very interested to follow their journeys. it took me a total of 8 tries to make sure I had done everything correctly, and I'm glad i needed the extra practice. I feel much more confident moving forward!

Very well written and aesthetically pleasing. Good job!
I was impressed that this ramoninla only needed three attempts to master the code....message to me...practice, practice, practice

I am very interested by the below poster, TechCreations, both for the positive outlook on progress through the mundane, but also because of his/her professional background in technology and yet here he/she is with the rest of us! My comment on TechCreations blog post can be found here.
Kudos to everyone who actually takes the time to complete this challenge. Commiting to complete an apparent trivial task is an accomplishment in and of itself.
Most people who finished this challenge seemed to do just fine. Here is a comment I left on one peer's blog:
thanks for your encouragement.
My post is here http://bugmanjourney.wordpress.com
Here's a blog I commented on http://realcaz.wordpress.com
Bugman
You have made a good start with your blog.
<meta charset=”utf=8”> is just letters and a digit until you repeat it 100 times. After that, it is still just letters and a digit, but maybe it will make sense with the context you eventually get built around it.
Keep at it.

but to everyone out there keep up the good work.

I have found this exercise realy useful. I have kept the hard copy and refer to it as a very basic template. Although this challenge appears quite repetitive, participants have produced a surprising variety of presentation and comment.
