Easy to manage course registration, content storage and delivery, assessments, administration, and reporting. The breadth and depth of community support makes an LMS more valuable

Generally speaking an LMS must have: Rebranding and customization options; Assessment creation, grading, and tracking features; Feature-rich toolsets; Enterprise-grade stability, scalability, and security; A high degree of control and flexibility. As well, an LMS should support portability and standards, such as SCORM; and personalize content and enable knowledge reuse. Furthermore, it is important to have Reporting and analytics about system and course usage, learner progress, assessment results, and more; and Security features limiting access to authorized people and roles.
