Hello and welcome to the After School Program Training! We are so glad that you have decided to volunteer in the schools in our area and that you are willing to invest your time and talent in our youth! All of the work that you do will be meaningful and important, but to make sure that you are getting the most out of your experience and making the greatest amount of difference, we ask that you learn a bit about what to expect before you go into the schools.
After completing this training you will better understand how and why the programs run, what to expect with the youth when you enter the programs, and how to help in the best way possible.
This training should take you about 1.5-2 hours to complete and does not need to be completed in one sitting, so please join us in learning more about after school programs!
Please plan accordingly for technology troubles. This site can be a bit confusing to operate at times, but if you thoroughly read this document explaining how to complete the training, you should be fine.
