Lesson 1 Part 1(EXAMPLE 1-3)

Hello!

I am Jacky, and today, I am going to teach you OM!

Let's start!

Example 1:①36+87+64②99+136+101③ 1361+972+639+28

Let's look at the first one: 36+87+64 See that 36+64=100? Then, we can scramble the numbers:36+64+87 Then add!Answer:187 The second one, 99+136+101, is scrambled to 99+101+136=200+136=336 See if you can try one the third one!

Example 2:①188+873 ②548+996 ③9898+203 Hmm, nothing add up to"easy groups"? Or is it? 188+273, actually is (200-22)+273. Take out brackets, and scrambled them(don't forget to move them along the + and -) Becomes:200+273-22=473-22=451. The next one:996 is 1000-4. Scrambled it becomes:548+1000-4=1548-4=1544. See if you can try out the third!

Example 3:① 300-73-27② 1000-90-80-20-10 Hmmm, all subtracted... But wait, look at this:a-b-c=a-(b+c) !!!!!!! Now it's easy! 300-73-27 is 300-(73+27) is 300-100 is 200! The next one t=is yours!
