In this part of the course we are covering planning and design of software solutions.

When planning and designing software solutions you have to solve complex problems, and to do that you need to develop a strategy. You need to be able to identify inputs and outputs of a system to select and describe relevant data structures and explain the procedures required for the solution and explain how each of these will interact. We will cover what tools you need to use to do that.

Within this unit there is a total of 5 activities to complete and submit, further mini tasks to ensure your comprehension and also your first assignment at the end.

Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2013 is recommended software, however, you can use an online IDE if you prefer such as Chpokk.
