UNISON has a long history of both providing and facilitating education and training for members. This provision has not just concentrated on providing the skills to support trade union work but has also focused on enabling working people to gain and improve their skills and qualifications and to learn for their own personal fulfilment.

UNISON aims to promote lifelong learning opportunities for those who have traditionally been excluded from learning and UNISON Union Learning Reps have an important role to play in this as part of active Branch Education Teams and Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF) Projects.

This programme is designed for UNISON members who are or who want to become UNISON Union Learning Reps (ULRs). Here's a little video from the Connecting Learners WULF project that explains a little more.

On this course you will watch more videos, visit useful websites, read through relevant materials and take part in online and offline activities that will help you to build the knowledge, understanding, skills and confidence that you will need to in your new role.
