Week 5 Readings

Overview

This week you will learn about exceptions to copyright, focusing on exceptions that allow material to be used by educators. Some of the most extensive exceptions to copyright under the Australian system apply to teachers, allowing use of material for educational purposes and in classroom environments. These exceptions are completely free in regards to price, but just as with last week's statutory licences, these exceptions are not absolute. They have their limits, and it is important as teachers that you know both the freedoms and boundaries that apply to you.
