Overview of this Resource for Parents

> Who should explore this resource?

Any parent who wants to 'walk' with their child so they might be more connected and supportive on the child's Sacramental Journey to Eucharist.

> What will I learn?

This resource will share with you: 1. the assumptions the parish has regards the Sacramental Program. 2. the activities that are offered to your child, both in classes and out of class. 3. Ways you might connect with your child in the activities and class content. 4. A deeper understanding of sacraments.

> What is the time commitment? It is very much up to you. I will outline at least 4 attitudes of parents regards walking with their child towards the sacraments, and it very much depends on your attitude and desire and circumstances.

At the most basic level to get anything from the resource to help your child - you would need to put in about a half hour a week for the next 4 weeks.

The resource is broken into sections and each stands independent of the other - you can do section 3 without section 2, although I think it would help to work through them in order.
Each week has a different suggested task to do with your child.
Tasks may take anywhere from 5 mins to half an hour. Like most things in life- the more time you put into it, the more you will get out of it. Resource Breakdown

Week 1 – Welcome to the course! Week 2 – Group meet and greet Week 3 – Assumptions Week 4 – Offerings of our program. Week 5 – Course Content. Week 6 – Adult understandings of Sacraments.

You can watch the videos and follow some of the outline material.
You will get the most out of it if you do the simple quizes to help you process the materials and try some of the activities with your child.
I will be grateful for your reflections and feedback, but I know many will not have time for these.
