I'm a PhD Candidate in Music Technology at NYU, researching music cognition with a background of mathematics, music theory, and a sprinkling of psychology.
To date, I've focused on developing data-driven methods for interpreting responses collected continuously during music listening. I work with behavioural (ratings) and physiological (respiration, skin conductance) measures of experience/response and spend most of my time playing with collections of very messy time series.
Outside of research, I've done a lot of academic community work, teaching bike mechanics, and currently have a container garden.
