I like tinkercard it is very informative.
This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.
Conquer 2-4 Tinkercad quests. Learn basic navigations, make a batman badge, or even making a ring (in less than 5-10 minutes!!)
Remember to post the number of quests you completed, one collaged screenshot, your feedback and/or thoughts on the quests. My personal favorite is the rabbit ring.
If you are using other software, explain how you would make any two of the following:
1. chainmail
2. some sort of egg holder, that holds a single egg
3. necklace pendant with a small hoop for the chain to go through
4. a six-faced die - a regular die

Okay,
my computer is a little hard to use to manipulate the Tinkercad components.
I made many objects including this -
i've managed to finish 10 lessons, the last one was the Kraken!
I think TinkerCad has done a great job with the tutorials (Quests) and making the "learning to use the tool" steps as fun as possible.
To make an egg holder in openscad, use cylinders to make a simple base and for the egg-holder intersect two spheres with the "difference".
To make the pendant with a hole, use again "difference" with a cylinder and the pendant you design, remember that your cylinder must pass through the pendant side to side.
To use difference in openscad with any two solids:
difference() {
"Solid1"
"Solid2"
}
I completed a total of 20+ quests! I love them and love discovering techniques through these quests. That is the no.1 advantage of Tinkercad, letting you tinker other people's creations! You can learn very quickly by doing.
My favorite quests? Hard to say, I tried one of each kind: jewelry, egg, dice, heart shape... it depends on what you ultimately want to make, you can explore what will lead you to completion faster.
