i found out about STL format in this tutorial in the thingverse blog

i have registered at tinkercard and have done 6 lessons by now. really cool and easy 3D tool.

this 8bit Mario block model is great, strange to see 8bit graphics created with a powerfull 3D tool as Tinkecard!

that's my work for this task, hope it's good enough!

Partly because I like the idea of 3D printing mechanical objects. Also because I want to mae my own set of simple gears. I've looked for sets to buy online to be used in math classes (gear teeth and spin ratios have nice linear relationships)

I was really surpried (then not, because hey, it's the internet) as to the variety of things posted in thingverse. Some very useful,, some just artistics; great site.
