To make your blog more discoverable to the Mozilla community at large, you'll want it to show up on Planet Mozilla, a "virtual firehose" which aggregates the voices of everyone in the community.

In order to do that, you'll need to file a bug. Bugs are simply "concrete tasks that need to get done" at Mozilla; other organizations might call them tickets or issues. Filing your first bug and getting acquainted with the system will take some time, but it's worth it, as working with bugs is how most things get done at Mozilla.

Head on over to bugzilla.mozilla.org, where all the bugs are managed, and create a new account for yourself. Then watch the 18-minute Bugzilla For Humans tutorial by Jonathan Nightingale, which is an excellent (and hilarious) introduction to the system.

Next, you'll want to create a bug under the product Websites and the component planet.mozilla.org. Provide the URL to your blog there and a description of yourself. Check out this bug for an example.

Once you've done that, you might want to try out Atul Varma's Bugzilla Dashboard, which gives you a simple overview of all the bugs you're involved with.
