A sister project of Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons is a repository of openly licensed images and media that people all over the world use and contribute to. This challenge gets you acquainted with uploading your works to the commons.

After clicking on the "Upload file" link, go through the "Useful Tips When Contributing to Wikimedia Commons" graphic. It will help you decide whether the image you selected is properly licensed to be uploaded. If it's not, have no fear! Try selecting another image that can safely be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons collection.

You can upload your own photographs or images of your own work.

If you don't have anything that you'd like to share, go ahead and find something with the Creative Commons Search Tool: http://search.creativecommons.org/.
