Now that you've thoroughly explored the source website, let's return to the data set we will be using for this challenge. This is the Total Carbon Dioxide Emissions from the Consumption of Energy (Million Metric Tons) for all regions from 2006-2010.

To simplify this tutorial, I suggest you then upload the data onto a Google Spreadsheet. Excel or other similar spreadsheet programmes would also be fine if you are comfortable with the slightly different layouts.

As a Google spreadsheet, your data should look something like this:

Now save it! Then, create a duplicate working copy. You should never touch your original data set.
