Standard Set Answer:I am interested in this topic because I work with low SES students who are very behind in mathematics. We are using this Pilot course to try to improve our DevMath program, and we are hoping to see an increase in student scores. I am also hoping to learn new strategies using the NROC course to make this a more effective course in the future.
I am piloting the Dev Math course. I am interested in this group to improve the effectiveness in Dev Math in high school students. We have students from all different backgrounds and schooling systems being that we are a charter. I want to take the students who are several grade-levels behind in math and improve their scores. I hope to contribute my experience with the course as well as my strategies. I hope to learn new strategies and what some of the others struggles are with the pilot course.
