This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.

Let's get acquainted

In this task, we'll get to know each other a bit.

The purpose of this challenge is to set up global classroom collaborations with elementary classrooms.

The projects are up to you and your partner (we'll talk more about this in subsequent tasks) -- they can be as simple as e-pal programs or as comprehensive as collaborative environmental studies.

For now, let's get to know each other. Post a comment and tell us something about yourself, your school, and your classroom. If you'd like to make a short video to introduce yourself, that would be great! If you have a classroom web site, post a link.

Also, mark your classroom on the map here.

Hi, I'm Karen. I organized this challenge. I work with schools across the U.S. on integrating technology. I live in the desert southwest in a remote place on the AZ/NM border.

If you have any questions about this challenge or P2PU in general, feel free to message me any time!

    Karen,

This is Tracy from K12 Next Generation- the one working with Harry.  As you know, we are trying to get school to join us in a collaborative effort to design the K-12 curriculum continuum for the international educational community.  I think Harry has sent you the Glogs and business plan - if not let me know and I will send it to you.

I would love to "play" with you all but  the only "class" I currently have is in Africa with an internet that isn't working.  If you can use me or loan me a class - whatever - then I would love to participate.
