Hey everyone,
I'm still getting used to P2PU. I'm the lead instructor here, and the project lead of OpenHatch, an effort that works to bring more contributors to free, open-source software projects.
The curriculum (which you can read in the Full Description link on the left) focuses on teaching technical tools that are commonly found in open source software projects, as well as giving you experience with communication tools that projects use.
I'm hoping that people will find the course interesting, and help illuminate how open source works as a process. I also want as much feedback about what is and isn't working. Negative feedback is the most useful, actually!
I'm also hoping the course can be something of a conversation!
Say hi
Hi everyone!,
For the first week, I want people to just say "Hello" to each other. I'd love if you would also say what you are hoping to get out of the course, and if you have any thoughts on projects you'd like to contribute to, and what you think about the curriculum.
Originally I thought it would be best to do that on the "wall," but let's do it here on this "Task".
Look at the top of the page and find the "Post comment" button. Click it!
I'll start!
