There are some indications that our current and past way of life (in the US) is un-sustainable. Gradual (steady increase in the price of oil) and possibly dramatic (Greece debt crisis) shifts may accelerate in the next few years. I think that living on a farm, and producing as many of my necessities as possible may help to insulate me from some of the hardships these shifts may bring.
The P2PU site seems like a good place to document and plan my studies. And who knows maybe the plan might help someone else or bring in ideas from the internet for me to consider.
