I would like to successfully transition from city life towards rural farming in a relaxed and comfortable manner.

There are some indications that our current and past way of life (in the US) is un-sustainable. Gradual (steady increase in the price of oil) and possibly dramatic (Greece debt crisis) shifts may accelerate in the next few years. I think that living on a farm, and producing as many of my necessities as possible may help to insulate me from some of the hardships these shifts may bring.

The P2PU site seems like a good place to document and plan my studies. And who knows maybe the plan might help someone else or bring in ideas from the internet for me to consider.

Learn to make & post update videos

So many videos on the web have been helpful to me. I created this assignment for multiple reasons. First maybe I can share some of the things I'm learning. Second the videos act as a sort of journal through the process. And then they also create a baseline for other people to see and hopefully assist me in the process of learning.
