This week we are focusing on the origin of inequality and the history of Zanzibar before colonization.

Jared Diamond's Pulitzer Prize winning non-fiction book Guns, Germs and Steel was made into a National Geographic three part series. Please watch part 1 and part 3 this week.

Task Discussion:

Remember we are trying to get many stories for each topic we discuss. This week please post something (video, article, excerpt, etc.) that will give us more information about the people native to Zanzibar or the livestyle that they lived prior to colonization. And read each other's posts!
