Open is great. It works for so many projects. Many people say that everything should be open! Unfortunately, not everything can. It is just the nature of the world / business and while we can work on changing that, it will take a long time.
But hold on a minute, that does not mean just sit around and wait. Open concepts can be applied in closed environments. Think of it as creating mini, self-contained open environments.
This course/study group will go into how to apply open concepts to closed environments suucessfully.
What are your experiences with open concepts being applied in closed environments? What tools or methods were used? Any specific software or platforms? (such as MediaWikin or git) What was the goal of implementing these concepts? Were any of these successful?
